On July 31, 2025, PSF Specialized Cluster (PSF SC) and GIZ/GFA hosted the “Meet the Banker” event at M-Hotel in Kigali. The event brought together over 120 women entrepreneurs and key financial institutions including BK, BPR, Duterimbere, Equity Bank, and BDF.
The purpose of the event was to help women entrepreneurs learn about available financial opportunities for growing their businesses. At the same time, it gave banks a chance to showcase their products, explain how to access loans and other services, and outline the requirements for doing so.
Through presentations and open discussions, the event created a valuable space for direct engagement between women in business and banks. It aimed to improve understanding, trust,
and access to finance, all essential for business success.
